We are always open to suggestions for new groups so if you would like to set one up raise this with a committee member.
Visual Art - The Visual Art Group is a small friendly Group which meets once a month at the Coaver Club to share and discuss images that are probably a little outside the usual landscape, portrait and still life remit. We regularly set projects such as - 12 images in one room in your house - Lympstone at a set time - images in the style of famous artists etc. Photoshop features quite a lot, even though some of our number cannot remember what they did! You can see some of our images in the gallery section under Visual Art Group. At present our group is at maximum capacity due to the constrictions of the room, but if you would like to go on a reserve list please let Mac know.
Black, White Monochrome Group - Led by Sandra Barrett we meet monthly at the Cardinal Newman Centre. The Black, White and Monochrome (BWM) Group aims to promote Black/White/Monochrome photography within Exeter Camera Club by providing activities which will help members improve their understanding, skills and ability enabling them to capture qualitative BWM images and create a forum to show images to fellow members, whereby general critique is encouraged together with discussion and feedback from all those members participating. If you require further information please contact Sandra by clicking here.
Shades of Grey Group - As the Black and White Group became so pleural, rather than have a reserve list it was decided to set up a second group, which meets at The Coaver Club once a month. If you are interested in joining please contact Pete Mitchell by clicking here .
New Members Group - Run by Brian Rees this group has been set up to help new members get to know each other and the club, and for us to find out what their aims and aspirations are. It will be a couple of meetings prior to the start of the new season in September. If you are a new member and would like to come along please do. If you would like any further information e-mail Brian by clicking here .
