23rd - Lecture - Ian Wright - Travel, documentary photographer and club member, will present images taken on his travels around the world.
30th ECC Summer Project Evening. Presentation of the photographs taken between May and July 2008 by club members for the Summer Exhibition.
+ Bring and Buy Sale: a chance to recycle unwated photographic items.
NOVEMBER
6th - Western Counties Print Evening - The Western Counties Photographic Federation's travelling print portfolio is a selection of the best images from WCPF members across the South West. An opportunity to view and appriase the work of fellow enthusiasts.
13th - Critique Evening: Set subject 'Black and White'
20th - Lecture - Kate Bailey - Kate is a local professional photographer who uses light to enhance her close up nature photography.
27th - Lecture - Guy Edwards - Widely published both at home and abroad, his main interest is photographing wildlife and wild places in new ways and using new techniques to produce unique images.
DECEMBER
4th - Critique Evening - Set subject 'Low Light'
11th - Christmas Party - This year the Christmas Party will be held at Matthews Chambers. Activities will include not only eating, drinking and chatting, but also . . .
'Guess the Photographer' - A set of never previously seen prints will be displayed to admire and discuss. The photographer will have selected a print that he/she feels epitomises their photographic style. Our task will be to work ut who that is???
JANUARY
8th - The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. (PAGB)A Recorded Lecture from Wigan - 'Wigan 10 Exposed'. New 2006.
Winning club slides. Over 100 images for discussion and instruction.
15th - President's Evening - The Club President, Ken Barrett, will present and discuss some of his favourite images.
22nd - The London Salon of Photography Folio - Slide presentation of their 2008 Print Exhibition. 'The aim of the London Salon is to exhibit only that class of photographic work in which there is distinct evidence of artistic feeling and execution.'
23rd - Mix and Match Competition - A fun event where Exeter and Exmouth clubs go head to head in an attempt to match images. This year it is being hosted by Exmouth.
29th - Critique Evening - Set subject - 'Christmas'.
FEBRUARY
5th - Recorded Lecture - PAGB Slide Exhibition - A chance to see some of the best slides from PAGB photographers throughout the county.
12th - Critique Evening - Set subject - 'Technology'.
Also closing date for the Digital Image Competition.
19th - Critique Evening - Set subject - 'Silhouettes'.
26th - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - The election of officers of the Club
Also an opportunity for everyone to find out what has been going on behind the scenes and have an input into the running of the club.
Food and drinks will be provided.

5th - Digital Image Competition - Also closing date for the Print Image Competition.
12th - Lecture - Clive Minnitt - From Film to Digital. A presentation of Clive's portfolio and his journey from film photography to digital.
17th - Paington, Liskeard and Exeter camera clubs join forces for a critique evening. This year hosted by Paignton Camera Club.
19th - Audio Visual Evening - A selection of audio visual films of images. Please contact Projectionist Kelvin Cude with an estimated timing of your AV to book your slot in the timetable.
